This guide will show you how to stop overheating in Cyberpunk 2077, a regular issue you run into whilst in combat. To first of all solve this issue, we need to know what overheating exactly is, and what causes it.
How To Stop Overheating In Cyberpunk 2077
What is Overheating?
In Cyberpunk 2077, you can cybernetically enhance your character, “V“. However, along with these cool enhancements they come with downsides, one of which is the chance of overheating.
Overheating is when you are getting hacked by an enemy, this causes damage to your health, even if you aren’t being shot at. The things which cause overheating are cameras and enemies, you need to look out for them!
How To Stop Overheating
To stop overheating we have 3 methods:
- Look out for cameras before engaging in combat, you can clearly see them when you are scanning the area. Once you have located a few characters you can easily shoot them out in a few shots.
- Also, I recommend scanning the area for enemies which can hack you, I recommend first scanning for cameras then for enemies as its good to get the cameras out the way before you engage in a fight.
- You can also spend a skill point on the Cyberpunk 2077 quick hacking “I Spy” perk. The perk costs 5 intelligence, this perk identifies the enemy netrunners trying to hack you. Once you have located the culprit, you can simply shoot them out.
