This guide will show you how to drop items from your inventory in Cyberpunk 2077. Keeping only important items in your inventory is the key to not overloading yourself with things, leading your movement speed to decrease.
How To Drop Items From Your Inventory
Dropping items from your inventory in Cyberpunk 2077 is really simple! All you need to do is fist open the menu, you can do this on PC by pressing M. If you don’t know how to open the menu, you can check out our guide here where we show you.
Once you have opened your menu, click on Inventory at the top. Once you are in your inventory, you can empty and view everything in your inventory by clicking on BACKPACK.
You can filter through many different items using the filters at the top, to view all of your items click on the filter to the far right, which has the icon of the 3 boxes.
Now, you can look through all the items in your inventory, to drop an item, hover over a item you want to dispose of and hold Z if you are on PC.
You can check how much weight you are carrying at the top right, you need to be under the maximum weight threshold in order to not be compromised on your movement speed.
