Black Ops Cold War Season 1 is just around the corner! It has been confirmed that Season 1 will be coming to Cold War on December 10th, and there is lots of information to know!
Season 1 may be one of the biggest updates we have seen to a Call of Duty game in a long time. Keep in mind, things can change so take this with a grain of salt.
Season 1
Warzone
It has been confirmed that on December 10th, Warzone will be integrated into Cold war. This will bring new Cold War weapons into the Warzone experience, and there may even be a whole new Warzone map! Operators and weapons will both be moving into Warzone. Warzone will still be running on the Modern Warfare engine.
Also, there will be cross progression between Warzone and Cold War! This is very good news because you will be able to progress no matter on what game you are playing.
Cold War
It has been confirmed that there will be new multiplayer and zombie maps, the zombie map will be called apocalypse. This is very exciting news, and should be something to freshen up multiplayer and zombies.
There will also be new DLC weapons the first weapon coming is going to be striker shotgun, which will be a semi auto shotgun! We know this because of the shotgun shown in the Season 1 image. The next DLC weapon will be either an assault rifle or a smg, we don’t know for sure yet.
There will also be a new scorestreak! This scorestreak will be the K9 unit, another thing which will freshen up the multiplayer.
Also there will be new gamemodes, one of which is the 2v2 gun fighter.
Battle Pass
We know that there will be a Season 1 battle pass, from Modern Warfare we can expect this to contain operators, DLC weapons, calling cards, emblems and more. The Battle Pass will have a paid option to unlock cooler items but the DLC weapons will be free as usual. Its most likely to cost 900 COD points, but we don’t know yet.
Prestige’s
Currently we don’t have anything to buy with prestige keys but this will change in the Season 1 update, we don’t know yet what you will be able to buy with them. Also we are expecting the level cap to either be removed or raised in this next update.
